This Mount Holly New Jersey Elopement with James and Aubrey was unmatched. Every single detail was so intentional and their love was so evident the entire day! We started the day at James and Aubreys house in Mount Holly where they got ready in separate rooms until it was time for their first look. James and Aubrey both exchanged gifts in their rooms to keep the excitement building up.
James and Aubrey chose to include digital video along with super8mm for their elopement day. Shooting super 8mm gives the ability to slow the entire day down and be that much more intentional. Super8mm is a completely different feeling, think of a more filmy and nostalgic emotion than digital video and it’s one of my favorite ways to capture my couples!
After James and Aubrey were all ready, it was time for their first look. We did their first look directly in front of their home and it was such a sweet, heartfelt moment. After the first look, any nerves that had been lingering completely went away and their love took over. From here on out, the rest of the day just fell into place. We went straight to the Burlington County Lyceum from their house. A beautiful building full of rich history that the ceremony was held in. Those that joined were James and Aubrey’s closest family and friends. The ceremony was a nice short sweet ceremony that was filled of joy and laughter.
Following the ceremony, we went to The Local Eatery & Pub in Mount Holly. This was where James and Aubrey went on their first date, had their first kiss and now is one of their favorite spots that they go to every weekend. We shot portraits of James and Aubrey upstairs at the same exact table they had their first kiss at. If that doesn’t scream intentional I’m not sure what does!
We continued on to go into the speakeasy that James and Aubrey had rented out to celebrate their marriage with the same closest friends and family. We spent some time alone with James and Aubrey first where they got to relax and have a few cocktails and talk about their day. Later on, their family came in and got to celebrate with them. They shared first dances and loving words before heading to a dinner reception. In our final moments together, we stopped at James and Aubrey’s house! James carried Aubrey through the the threshold of their house, a final intentional detail to celebrate their new marriage.
“Ok so I wasn’t expecting to SOB We watched the 8mm only first and I think I made it 30 seconds in and then started blubbering Full on sobbing Both of them are INCREDIBLE so perfect, THANK YOU SO MUCH” – James and Aubrey
